Cssc Jiangnan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd is a public company solely promoted by
Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd on the base of the Group's
Steel Structure & Machinery Engineering Branch.
Known as one of the leading manufacturers for large steel
structures and integrated mechanical engineering projects
in China, has professional steel structure contractor certificate
(I) issued by National Construction Department. The company
has held a stable stand in domestic market with its three
main stays-large steel structure, heavy port machinery and
special pressure vessel. Good achievements have been made.
Besides designing and manufacturing the first 10,000t hydraulic
press, first missile launching rack, first mucking shield,
first suspended-cable bridge and first gasified stove in
China, the company has also undertaken research projects
for national economy and municipal constructions. They can
be listed as huge sluice gate for Gezhouba Dam, Permanent
lock gate for Sanxia, the National Theater, Shanghai Great
Theater, Lupu Bridge Shanghai F-1 vehicle-racing track,
Donghai Bridge, Shanghai 80,000-seats Stadium and terminal
building roof for Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
A great number of steel constructions of domestic airports,
sports stadium and conference exhibition centers are also
built by the company. Furthermore, in the field of integrated
machinery projects, the fourth generation of port crane,
the 40.5t container crane with world advanced level, the
1200T/ H ship-unloader ,the 600t and 800t Goalith Gantry
Crane are worth mentioning.
The company is a pioneer in the field of large marine LPG
tanks in China. It is the unique enterprise that masters
internationally advanced manufacturing technology of huge
marine LPG tanks. Its marine LPG tanks have won great popularity.
The technology how to transmute the marine products to land
products is being considered.

in June 1996. Because of its good reputation and market
